Daily Practices
People ask me all the time what they can do on their own, between sessions or before they're even sure a session is what they need. There really is so much you can do, and you are much more powerful than you may think. On this page you'll find simple things you can do to stay clear, grounded, and sovereign in your own energy.
These are the practices I actually use and recommend. None of these practices take very long once you become familiar with them. And just like anything else, the more you do them, the better you become at them.
If doing all of these practices feels daunting or unrealistic, start with one. Get familiar with it, and then add another when it feels natural. I recommend following them exactly as described, and then over time you may find that you’ll want to personalize these practices, and add to them or take out parts you don't like. Everyone has their own unique way of doing things, and the more you can personalize routines to suit you and make you feel more comfortable, the more powerful they become. Your Higher Self and your Guides will be there helping you and cheering you on, I promise!
Start Here: Bringing In the Light
This is the one I do every day, and I start every meditation with it. You can do it in the shower. You can do it during break time at work. Definitely do it while relaxing before you fall asleep. There are several versions of it here.
Grounding
Grounding keeps you connected to Mother Earth. It puts you fully in your body, and helps you release anxiety, mental chatter, and feelings of overwhelm. It is important to ground every day, and several times throughout your day, especially when you're feeling scattered, unfocused, or uncoordinated. If you only add one practice to your daily routine, make it this one.

Centering and Awareness
I use centering as a part of my grounding practice, and throughout my day. Centering is bringing your focus inward. Every day our attention is drawn outward to the world around us, and our minds are bombarded with thoughts, observations, the stories we make up or tell ourselves, and so on and so forth. This can create anxiety, depression, and a whole host of uncomfortable, hurtful, or draining feelings and emotions. Centering clears your mind and puts you back in your body. It refocuses your awareness on your true nature, which is peaceful, loving, and joyful.

Cord Cutting
Anything you feel stuck in, a pattern, a relationship, a situation that keeps repeating, can be thought of as an energetic cord tethering you to that person or situation. Cord cutting is how you consciously release it. After grounding and centering, imagine holding a sword, or a dagger in your hands. Run that sword completely around your body in every direction. I start by running it in a circle right to left around my body, then in a circle up and down, head to toe. Imagine you are cutting any cords coming in to you, or going out from you. Say out loud or in your head, “I cut all cords around me, coming in or going out. Cut, sealed, dissolved, healed.” I have a friend who adds, “What’s mine is mine, what’s theirs is theirs.” Once you cut those cords, you don't want them reattaching. I imagine mine cut, cauterized, withering away, and the holes they've left where they penetrated healed over. You can ask for help from your Guides or angels with this.
Making It Stick
The best practice is the one you actually do. You can attach some of these to something you already do every day, like right after you brush your teeth or right before bed. It adds time to your routine, so make accommodations for this extra time. When I first started these practices, it used to take me half an hour to go through all of them (there are more than I've listed here). But once you become accustomed to doing them, you get better at them. The visualizations become clearer. You're no longer creating the imagery from scratch, you're recalling it from memory and refining it or tuning in to it. It may take you some time to feel grounded or centered. That's normal, especially if it's not something you're used to doing. Over time, you will start to ground and center instantly. Nowadays, if I'm in a rush, I can do my entire routine in 5 minutes. But I actually enjoy my daily routines and spend a lot of time on them for the enjoyment of it. And if you miss a day, don't beat yourself up about it. Just pick it back up tomorrow. It's not about being perfect, it's about coming back. Consistency creates expertise.
When Practices Aren't Enough
Sometimes you do all the right things and something still feels stuck. That can be a sign there's something attached to you that you can't clear on your own, and that's exactly what a spirit release session is for. If you're not sure, a free 20-minute consultation is a no-pressure way to talk it through.
